Hand Knit

For these tags I used the Stampin' Up! 'Hand Knit' stamp set. These tags are perfect when giving a hand knit scarf, blanket, or sweater to a friend or relative. I love this stamp set. The lamb is just so cute and cuddly. The lamb would make an adorable card or gift tag for a new baby. My mom and Aunt are avid knitters, so I plan to create a bunch of note cards and gift tags to bundle together with pretty ribbon to give as a stocking stuffer. I know they will love them.

Teas of Japan

This tag would look so sweet attached to a tea cup filled with Japanese tea bags. A simple but thoughtful gift for anyone. I used the Stampin' Up! 'Newsprint' designer series paper on my tag and the 'Scallop Circles #2' die to create my fabric flower.

Sock Monkey

The Stampin' Up! 'Sock Monkey' stamp set is absolutely one of my favourite stamp sets. I used it when my son turned one last December and did the entire party in sock monkeys! I handmade everything from the banner to the party hats. These tags are adorable. Perfect for a new baby gift or a childs birthday gift. Must make more of these to have on hand.

Hand Knit By

I used the Stampin' Up! 'Scallop Punch' to punch out 2 scalloped circles and the 'Define Your Life' stamp set to stamp definitions onto the scallops. I then attached a designer button from the neutrals collection.

I used the Stampin' Up! 'Tiny Tags' and the co-ordinating 'Jewelry Tag Punch' to create the 'baby' and 'handcrafted' tiny tags. I tied the tiny tags to the ribbon using Stampin' Up! 'Linen Thread'.

These adorable little gift tags have been created using the Stampin' Up! 'Hand knit' stamp set, scrap designer series papers and clothes pins. How cute would one of these tags be clipped onto a soft hand knit baby blanket or pair of warm fuzzy baby booties?

Tags, Tags and more Tags!!

You can never have enough gift tags! I was recently asked to participate in a 'Winter Bazaar' December 4th here in Moncton,NB. I am excited as its my very first craft event. I will be selling gift tags at the event and have been trying to get into the craft room to design as many different tags as I can as often as I can. I would like to share a few of my favourites with you over the next week. Enjoy!!
